Issue:
Fashion is all about the visual. Pretty obvious, huh? But, balance the need to have something that looks beautiful, with the need to showcase literally thousands of images, whilst ensuring that it is search engine optimised and flexible enough to deal with daily-changing information, you probably need to speak to someone who knows what they're doing.

Insight:
Fashion editors are time poor and not necessarily technically literate. A good picture can be the difference between getting press coverage and getting none in this world.
Solution:
We built Swarovski a site that was totally flexible. Navigation can change constantly and can be added to or consolidated.
Images are shown as a slideshow with descriptions of the pieces and the designers. Press contacts need to get a username and password to access the high res images, but these can all be easily downloaded from the site.
The design is also flexible enough to break the template for special events, such as the recent Swarovski Fashion Rocks show, where we showed a video featuring Naomi Campbell wearing Swarovski crystals.
